Trezeguet in yesterday match scored the consolation goal for Aston Villa in their Premier League match against Chelsea and becomes the first Villan to score in three consecutive English topflight starts, a recod set by Tom Cleverley in Aston Villa four years ago.

The Hassan’s goal in Aston Villa  2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday evening means he becomes the second Villan to score in three consecutive Premier League starts.

With Frank Lampard’s squad leading at Stamford Bridge, thanks to Tammy Abraham’s effort, Trezeguet rounded off a fine move to put Dean Smith’s side level before the break.

The first half strike from the former Kasimpasa midfielder and Egypt International sees him through in Aston Villa history alongside Tom Cleverly, who had achieved the groly in May 2015.

Meanwhile, he was assisted by his fellow Egyptian, Ahmed El Mohamady – and that became the first-ever English topflight goal to be scored and assisted by Egyptians.

He was later substituted by Diogo Jota in the 76th minute as his side suffered their eighth defeat of the season.

Aston Villa sits 15th in the EPL table with 15 points from 15 appearance and they are set to host high-flying Leicester City on Sunday.
