Abraham has been left out of most Tuchel’s game as Chelsea manager with the German insisting he must prove his worth

Chelsea smashed aside FC Porto in a 2-0 score line on Wednesday night but there was still no trace of Tammy Abraham in the pitch.

Abraham’s absence from games has been raising dusts and prior to the game on Wednesday night, Tuchel had stated Abraham would make an appearance after naming him on then bench which he later on wasn’t used.

The English man is considered one of the best young strikers in European league merely looking at his records which surpasses even the most talked Erling Haaland.

Speaking ahead of the game against Crystal Palace, Tuchel implied Abraham has to fight for his spot if actually he bothered by lack of game time.

“Tammy has had a rough time,” Tuchel said; “He started twice or three times and substituted for tactical reasons at half-time.

“He’s not had the impact we wish and demand from him. He then got injured, lost the connection and possibility to play for his place the squad.

“Now suddenly we’re in the decisive part of the season, where it’s not so easy to bring injured players into the shape.

“We’ve only got three changes and a big handicap. It’s up to Tammy to do everything possible.

“We have 22 players on the pitch and it’s very hard to select 18 for Premier League matches. In the offensive position it’s possible to have a huge impact in small minutes.

“We demand a lot of Tammy, he demands a lot of himself.”

Chelsea battle Palace tomorrow and Abraham will be hopeful for game time after returning from a injury.
