Chelsea manager has been voted third best trainer puting him ahead of Pep Guardiola
Thomas Tuchel beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the short time of his Chelsea’s first spell as manager after inheriting the club halfway from Frank Lampard.
It’s apparent that one of the best decisions the Chelsea Board made last season was letting go of Frank Lampard and then bringing in no other manager aside Tuchel who had lost his job at PSG.
Prior to his sack, the former PSG boss had led the Parisians to a UCL final where they disappointedly lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich despite having dominated most of the game time.
According to sources, Tuchel only had to leave the club cause of same reason he left other teams and that was political reasons. He never wanted to be involved in the club’s political affairs.

Arriving Chelsea, Roman Abramovic promised not to involve him in the club politics if only he lands trophies and it’s no surprise seeing the German already turning things around from converting Hudson-Odoi to an active wing back to Reece James’ new role as a right center back.
Tuchel surprised many by leading a once struggling Chelsea squad to UCL glory and reigniting the fire in Kai Havertz who was once struggling prior his arrival.
With all these in check, after 58k votes casted on Kicker’s poll, Thomas Tuchel was picked as the third best trainer across all major European leagues.
Liverpool’s Manager, Jurgen Klopp came out at the top of the list, followed by former Bayern Munich manager, Hansi Flick.
See top 5 list below.
1⃣ Juergen Klopp − 33.6%.
2⃣ Hansi Flick − 20.9%.
3⃣ Thomas Tuchel − 19.4%.
4⃣ Pep Guardiola − 14.0%.
5⃣ Diego Simeone − 4.7%.
Finishing above Simeone and Guardiola wasn’t a bad one as the 47-year-old did beat both managers on his way to UCL glory with Blues.
Ahead of the new season, Tuchel has demanded Chelsea pend every transfer decisions while he takes the time to evaluate the available talents in Chelsea.
Several loan names are back in the club already including Armando Broja who was just recently handed a 5-year contract and included in the first team for the pre-season campaign.
