Anthony Taylor didn’t hold back in awarding a penalty as Gilmour took down Sterling in the box
Chelsea goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy was at his side’s rescue as Aguero was denied a crucial goal against the Blues.
The penalty decision which many have blasted seems isn’t wrong from Tuchel’s point of view.
According to the German, he didn’t want to disagree with the referee’s decision but was thankful the luck was on their side.
Tuchel stated he isn’t to talk bad about the referee; ‘You need these things, I am not here to talk bad about the referee, this is how it is. You need a bit of luck and this will never change.’

‘I am aware you need a bit of luck in any match of football, and we had it on our side in the second half,’ he said about the Zouma challenge.
‘I only saw it live, and I was in fear he would give it.
‘The first one [against Billy Gilmour] was a 50/50 which maybe wasn’t worth overturning by VAR, but if he hadn’t given it live it wouldn’t have been worth overruling. It was a pretty tough one to take.
‘Second one I didn’t see, but I also heard Raheem Sterling was lucky to be on the field because he had a huge foul against Timo Werner.
