The Spanish side scaled through into the semis where they joined Chelsea for the next round of test
Chelsea are definitely happy to have seen the much desired draw come to reality as both sides will be meeting for UEFA Competition since 1998 when Chelsea won 3-1 against Madrid for the Super Cup.
The fixture will have some familiar names reuniting with their old sides, including Mateo Kovacic who left Madrid for Chelsea, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois who joined Madrid from Chelsea.
The Stamford Bridge side are considered more likely to advance into the finals after seeing them turn so good since the arrival of Thomss Tuchel.
But Zidane believes it won’t be an easy task for both sides, as he confirmed just after their 0-0 draw at Anfield granted them pass on aggregate into the Semis.
Speaking to reporters Zidane said; “We have a lot of league games before Chelsea, but it’s going to be a very difficult game.”

Chelsea also on the other hand won’t have an easy task until the end of the season as they are now left with fixtures in every 3-4 days.
Los Blancos are yet to lose any competitive game since January and definitely won’t be an easy task for Chelsea.
