Roman Abramovic is linked to a crime which could see him slapped mega sanction by under-fire Boris Johnson
UK Members of Parliament have urged Prime Minister Boris Johnson to quickly serve Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovic a huge sanction over alleged crime.
Roman Abramovic and fellow Russian Oligarch who also backs Everton; Alisher Usmanov could be slapped with huge deprivations by the UK Governments.
In attempt to curb Human Right Abuses, the UK Government have been urged to quickly move into action by going up against Abramovic and Usmanov.
The duo were named by Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny at those to be targeted by the Western Governments if they really want to curb President Putin’s human right abuse.
Navalny is a an opposition party politician in Russia who almost lost his life back in August 2020 from poison.
Having recovered from the attack as he had flee to Germany before the hit, Navalny decided to return to Moscow his home town where he was recently arrested on reaching the airport.
With this going contrary to President Putin’s claims of that the 44-year-old could always return freely to his home country without being arrested, the world has called for Navalny’s release.
While all these are going on, the Anti-Corruption Activist has named Roman Abramovic and Alisher Usmanov as major enablers and beneficiaries of the Russian kleptocracy who have their assets in the West.
Labor former minister; Dame Margaret Hodge and Liberal Democrat foreign affairs spokeswoman; Layla Moran have both urged the UK Government to impose sanctions on Abramovic and Usmanov on Wednesday.
They also challenged the Government in the commons to take action with USA Government also calling for Navalny’s release.
The Government in UK although has disappointedly failed to make speculations of any sanctions to come for both men.
Ministers can still with the power vested on them impose certain bans on persons linked to human right abuse crimes. These bans include, travel bans and financial assets freeze.
