With the arrival of Dutch sensation, Frankie De Jong and the likes of Sergio busquets and Ivan Rakitic in midfield, Coutinho now has to fight hard for a place in the pecking order although, he is still linked to a possible Arsenal loan move.

The former Liverpool midfielder had earlier stated that he wouldn’t feature in any English squad aside his former side, Liverpool  where he signed from in 2018 and has won 2 La liga titles with Barcelona and a Copa del rey.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been recently linked a swap deal to help facilitate the return of former talisman, Neymar Jr but so unfortunate that a move to PSG was called off as the Persians disclosed they want just cash for the Coutinho’s countryman.
