England shared points after a goalless draw with Scotland yesterday
A video clip has surfaced the internet and supposedly points to the fact that Raheem Sterling is still not happy he lost the UEFA Champions League final to Reece James’ club side, Chelsea.
Prior the game last night, Southgate picked Reece James for the right back role while Luke Shaw benched Ben Chilwell.
Just like in the Chelsea squad, Reece James always helped provide crosses into the opponents 18-yard box by working closely to the attackers.
Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling happened to be in a position that giving James a pass on time could have helped overturn their fate against Scotland.
Instead Sterling decided to try forcing things himself despite getting calls multiple times from Reece James who was ready to run off and push that cross.
Below is the video of this event:
It’s probably due to the rivalry that has gradually grown between both men’s team since after the UCL Final.
Although prior the may 29th game, Chelsea were already considered a bitter side for Manchester City after the Cityzens were beaten twice by the Blues.
