The Defender agreed terms to join Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent deal
Timothy Fosu-Mensah has joined German side, Bayer Leverkusen after reading agreement to leave Man United.
Having featured only 30 times for United since his debut as a substitute in Man United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal in 2016, Fosu Mensah decided to search for proper playtime elsewhere.
The deal which involved a £1.3m tag saw Leverkusen beating off competition from Hertha Berlin and Ajax among others to land the defender.
As he was setting to depart, Paul Pogba made a video of him and Eric Bailey as the three players were seen emotional.
