Manchester United keeper, David de Gea has disclosed the whole squad is firmly in support of the current manager and willing to ‘fight to death’ for Solskjaer.

David de Gea has insisted that Man United’s poor start has not made the boys lose hope on Solskjaer as the boys are willing to fight to death for the manager.

Manchester United is struggling to balance in the 2019/2020 campaign after picking up just 6 points in 8 games and this has increased the pressure at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils lost their last Premier League game against West Ham United but managed to get past a League One Rochdale who held them to a draw before the penalty shoot-outs.

David de Gea while speaking to DAZN, told the reporters that Solskjaer is still part of the family and being a person who has been with the club for many years before being appointed manager, he still believes the Red Devils are safe following his orders.

“[Solskjaer] is part of the family, he was here for many years as a player, he knows the club well and most importantly the whole team is behind him, we will fight to the death for him,” De Gea told DAZN via Goal.

“That is key, he is a good coach and we will be with him until the end.”

Man United was in the best of forms during Solskjaer’s days as interim manager but ever since signing the permanent contract paper, the team has suffered a great decline in performance.

Missing out on Champions league after a poor finish last season and also currently little hopes exists for the top 4 race for Manchester United.
