Manchester City striker, Raheem Sterling has disclosed what he thinks of their coming clash with Liverpool as he states that the team can stop Liverpool.

Sterling’s side were leading the Premier league table with Liverpool following as the second placed team, but a shocking loss to Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Leicester left them 7 points behind their over-takers, Liverpool who are still on their unbeaten streak.

Manchester City are actually not in their best of forms just like the last season when they lifted the trophy. Multiple number of injuries had them face important games without some of their key-players.

Despite the little set-backs the team is currently facing, Raheem Sterling still believes that The Citizens can end Liverpool’s unbeaten streak as they prepare to go against each other on the 3rd of January.

Having scored 10 goals and assisting 9, Sterling is considered as one of the best strikers in Europe who believes in the power of team work.

According to Daily Mirror, Sterling said;

“If we can play the way we know we can play, we can beat anyone.

“It’s going to be a great game and we’re all looking forward to it.”

When asked how the team reacted to their victory over Southampton, the English man said;

“It’s a massive step and just what we needed,” he said.

“We had two poor games and we knew we needed to win to give ourselves a chance and we did just that. Our previous two results were difficult to take and I thought we bounced back brilliantly.

“I think we owed it to ourselves and as a team to bring that level we know we can bring.”
The Striker ended.

Liverpool pose a great threat to Manchester city because failure to scratch out three points from the game would totally derail Manchester City’s hope of retaining the title.

Guardiola is left with much work on his table, a task he must accomplish in less than a week.

But can he actually find the missing puzzle to unlock Klopp’s weak point?
