The Red Devils are keen to land the former Chelsea Academy star as they eye using Lingard in exchange for his arrival
Jesse Lingard has been a major success since joining West Ham United on loan after being fizzled out of Ole Solskjaer’s squad.
The English man’s arrival has also helped fired the Hammers up for UCL action as they are in tough contention of the top 4 spot.
A superb victory on Sunday evening handed West Ham extra boost on their UCL hunt with Lingard banging a brace and providing an assist of which it’s goal was disallowed.
Having seen how impactful Lingard has been for Moyes, they now know it would be hard to convince West Ham to back off on their pursuit to land Lingard.
United values the striker in a price around £30m, and that of course won’t be a problem for West Ham to settle in order to see Lingard remain with them.

But United instead wants to use this opportunity to see Declan Rice come the opposite direction.
Rice had been a major transfer target for Man United and bitter rivals, Chelsea as he was also tipped for a Stamford Bridge return.
Having fired Frank Lampard who is a great admirer of the English man, Chelsea left United only on the route to land Rice.
Solskjaer views the 22-year-old as the best back up plan for his holding midfield but it would be hard to see the talent leave London Stadium.
Rice is valued at over £100m and the club is confident he would stay with the side he has worked so much to see surface at the top of the table zone.
West Ham United further more revealed their quest to land Lingard should only involve Lingard and no one else as they prefer to pay his price tag.
