Chelsea misfiring striker could be at a pivotal point of his Chelsea career after been left as an unused sub in Chelsea’s last two games
Timo Werner is faced with a quest to prove himself as a super finisher or gets ditched for a ‘class striker’.
The German remained an unused sub in Chelsea‘s last two games as it appears Thomas Tuchel is getting more comfortable with his Pulisic-Havertz-Mount front three.
Werner’s disastrous misses only clashes with his 11 assists that has left his works considerable at Stamford Bridge.
It’s currently considered the 25-year-old is still trying to settle after switching Clubs and Leagues.

But with Tammy Abraham’s future in major doubt as he could possibly leave in search of proper play time to blossom career, Chelsea are definitely in line to land at least one striker.
According to sources, Thomas Tuchel has met with Petr Cech(technical director) and Marina Granovskaia(chief) to discuss on what is needed to complete Chelsea’s transformation to that side no team would want to face.
Sergio Aguero, Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku are all considered targets but it’s believed Haaland is considered of a more priority.
Aguero is out of contract at the end of the current season and has been talked of likely moving to the other side of the Premier League after revealing he prefers staying in the league than leaving.
Chelsea could decide to bank on this Argentine who already has proven himself as a Premier League scorer.
It also could be considered as a move to gear up their striking line just like Thiago Silva was used for the defense line.
This indeed would come without Chelsea taking out lump sums off their purse.
Meanwhile for Lukaku Chelsea would be in for a huge money transfer in their quest to reunite with their once flopped striker.
Leaving Chelsea back then only proved Lukaku’s career right as he immediately began blossoming after leaving Stamford Bridge.
Although it’s not the first time Chelsea are trying to resign the Belgian as they already attempted before he joined Man United but reunited with him will only deduct an excess of €100m from their wallet.
It’s also another big money move which has left Chelsea pondering if it’s worth the risk, especially after seeing the Norwegian struggle since International break where he wasn’t able to net goals for his country side.
It’s very clear that Chelsea must definitely land one Striker by the end of the summer transfer window, it’s now left for Timo Werner and Abraham to prove they can be the lightbearers at Chelsea’s striking list or get ditched.
Abraham on the other hand has remained Chelsea’s top scorer since the last season but has been mysteriously dropped by Tuchel.
