Why Barcelona is refusing free Dani Alves return.

PSG back man, Dani Alves plans a comeback to Barcelona as his contract with the club expires June 30.

Alves left for Juventus in 2016 after a successful 8 years at Camp Nou where he won four Champions league trophies.

Formerly rated among the three most expensive defenders in the whole world, Dani Alves surprisedly moved to Allianz Arena on a free transfer deal.

Another successful year for Alves as he won the Serie A and Coppa Italia with Juventus.

Just one season with the Old Lady and Alves left for Paris Saint German on another free transfer.

Now Alves doesn’t wish to continue with The Persians as he plans to return to Camp Nou as a free agent despite all critics he channelled towards his former side while away.

Possibly the reason Barcelona is refusing to grant him the offer, stating that they already have a player who fills his former position while with the Spanish Giants.

Sergi Roberto is a born back-man and Barcelona do not look ready to trade or risk his services for a 36 year old former player who spent his time out criticising the club he won a lot with.

At the other is Semedo who fills in the gap when Sergi isn’t available but possible links exist that he would leave Camp Nou.

Semedo seeks where to get proper playtimes as Roberto seems to be a machine at Barcelona.

Currently, Dani Alves is on National duties and would decide what to do when he gets back.

To sort of another team, maybe leave for China or retire. No one knows.
