Former Barcelona midfielder, Xavi might be replacing Valverde soon as Spanish discloses he has no problem managing his former teammates.

Xavi who is currently on his first managerial year at Al Sadd has disclosed he would someday love to be the boss at Camp Nou.

The manager-worker relationship at Barcelona is currently not in a very good shape at the moment as even the supporters call for the sack of the current boss.

It’s believed that Valverde is incompetent and firing him for another manager would help avert the dangers bewailing the Catalans.

No manager has been named yet as a target replacement for Valverde but former midfielder, Xavi has disclosed he would love to return to Camp Nou.

The 39-year-old is currently doing a good job in Qatar as his boys are yet to drop a point in the Qatari Stars league.

Xavi disclosed that he would do better at Camp Nou considering that the experience and knowledge of his former teammates will help him more.

“It wouldn’t be a problem. I know what Leo is like, and Luis, Busquets, Jordi, Pique or Sergi,” Xavi told Ara.

“I know how they train, their capacity for leadership, I can tell if they are sad or angry. I hope as a coach I could have three, five, eight or 10 players that I already knew and that I already had a good relationship with.

“[Messi] is a player who, if you convince him, he can even be a brilliant defender. He has physical and mental speed. He has everything. If you convince him to run, what will the others do? They will run twice as much.”
